S.E.T
(Science Engineering and
Technology)

Our program is implemented in two pronged approach. Dealing with Science Technology and Engineering through mobile vans traveling school to school for local personalised sessions

The Details

In minivan, trained teacher’s visits schools with more than one hundred experiments designed to provide students with a hands-on learning experience that local teachers are unable to provide

While most experiments make use of our models, we also occasionally use locally-available common materials to make new models

The van visits each participating school several times a year, to maintain the curiosity and enthusiasm of students

Our teachers explain every topic using different models. Students begin to understand concepts that were harder to decipher from the pages of their textbooks

Promotion: Route to market (nearby urban / semi urban places) strategy is designed by farmers along with the NGO.

The model is passed around, as the children turn it over in their hands, examining it from all sides

Through this hands-on, experiential learning, all of their senses are engaged and they discover how and why things work the way they do

Apart from this we also hold camps, exhibits and talent search for improved experience of learning

Problem of school teaching is that only 20% students understands what teacher is teaching, that is why other students does not show any interest, due to it whole academic performance goes down. Thus our Mathematics teaching is implemented through a very unique program called “Little Leaders Little Teachers” in collaboration with Vande Mataram Foundation.

The Details

Every student becomes learner and teacher through this program.

We conduct a test and select two students in every class [6th to 8th], in all the schools under the program.

These students are trained by our teachers in vacations. Daily more than 5 hours they are trained to give and conduct maths tests, teaching difficulties, how to fill progress report etc.

These students will run the same program for other students in school in similar manner.

VERTC Hyderabad staff will come twice in a year for evaluation.

Thus there is chain of students, a student who is in higher level he will teach to immediate lower level student and it goes on.

This course has 6 levels.

First level starts from basic & it gives confidence to students. Overall result of first level is to boost speed and accuracy of students in maths.

When student completes 6 levels he can solve any maths problem from almost all competitive exams. Minimum 3 years are required to complete all levels.
